i remember growing up, anxiously counting down the days till she would get home from college. i just absolutely adored her. and still do. story time. i was in 8th grade. she was home from college. i was still in school. i came home wallowing in mucky muck from a brutal day in the life of a middle school drama queen. stormed upstairs. only to find my room decked out in homemade signs. signs telling me how important i was. signs telling me just how much i was loved. i still have the image of one in my head. it was orange painted with gold glitter and a beautiful sun. it said "your smile brightens my day." i remember feeling like the luckiest girl in the world. i was so flattered that my cool, older, much-more-mature, had-a-boyfriend, no curfew, went-to-college sister took time out of her much cooler life to do that for me. (good thing our progression didn't come to a screeching halt at age 13, RIGHT? ha!) things haven't changed much on courtney's end. she is still that same thoughtful, creative, much cooler, selfless sister she was when i was going through a day in the life of a pre-tween drama queen. she's just got it goin ON. super sexy, super momma, super strong, super faithful, super dedicated, super funny. i always look forward to when i get to see her and spend time with her. i love her company.
i just adore her.
so grateful we are sisters forever.
(stuck like glue)
happy birthday court.
LOVE YOU.
Wow. Thanks Ash! That's pretty much the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me. I love you too, and pretty much everything you said is how I feel about you. I feel so blessed to be a part of your family.
